Developing A Name.
When developing a name for your clown, it is good to think about its character. Especially in gospel clowning, a good way to get your clowns name might be from the Bible.
For example, you go to the Bible looking for a name. You turn to Matt.5(16), “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
You take that scripture and decide on a name. You could take “light” and may choose the name “Light – Bulb” or “Light-ning” or even “Light-heart”. I think you get the idea. It gives you a basis for your character and, no doubt, conveys a message to your class.
The Bible is full of ideas for this, so use it.
