SOLD OUT
Reading: Matthew 13:44 …the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
A motivated seller is the nice term for someone who is desperate to sell. This person is selling at a discount because the reason(s) and urgency of selling outweighs whatever money that would be lost in the transaction. They possibly want to purchase something else, move away from where they are or simply don’t care for the property in question.
Have we, as individuals found the true treasure of life, salvation through grace by the shed blood of Jesus Christ? If you have, do you not react the same as the man in the scripture? For joy do you go and sell out the old things of this world for the better things of eternity? Is not a crown of righteousness worth selling out the beggarly elements of this world for the glorious treasure of God? May we all be motivated sellers.
