The New
Lecture Hall
The
Lecture Hall is NTCS’ newly completed and largest
classroom, and it is already in full swing! Although
primarily a classroom to accommodate the largest
classes, it also doubles as the new Fellowship Hall,
with a brand new kitchen area and a large
ceramic-tiled lobby with four arching entryways into
the main classroom. The classroom is 80 feet by 120
feet, and has a high vaulted ceiling with recessed
lights as the stars of heaven in multitude. A
beautiful new carpet covers both floor and walls,
and there is plenty room for both ministers and
students to fellowship together. The kitchen serves
up grilled sandwiches, nachos, fresh coffee and tea,
and much more. Someone even donated a popcorn
machine that looks like a glass box on a cart, and
we have installed a new digital numbering system so
you know when your food is ready! New parking areas
have also been added, as well as bushes and
landscaping.
On
Wednesday evenings after the Bible Studies, the
local church members have dessert potluck
fellowship, and on Thursday and Sundays, students
and ministers get together for a season of
fellowship and refreshment. We are excited about it,
and the next time you are in Washington you can
enjoy it with us!
