A Pick me Up From God
Shortly after I had married we had moved to a large city and I had no idea which church to go to, so we didn't. My husband left for basic training, and I told him that when he gets stationed wherever, we were going to find a church, and get involved! I had gone to several churches before we were married, had even been filled with the Holy Ghost, but the churches never told me how to live for God every day, just how to get along with your family, etc.
My husband arrived at Fort Lewis WA in Feb 99 and was there two weeks before he was able to come get us and move us there. The first week there we found an apartment, moved in and the next thing I said is, "Now we need to find a church." My husband pulled out a card from his wallet, one from NTCC. He said four men from the same church had invited him during those two weeks he first got there. So we went, and I am so thankful for each one that invited my husband, and for each one that prayed for us! More importantly I'm thankful to God that He lead us to the church that would tell me, straight from the bible how I can live for and Love Him everyday of my life!
I am happier than I had ever thought possible! God picked me up and made me a Child of the King!
